Watched Phas Gaye Re Obama today,
What an amazing script with full sense of humour in dialogues! Let me say it is a smart movie indeed. All the actors have given commandable performances to their charecters. Well, the charecter which steals the screen i think was Manu Rishi(Playing Role of Anni) who is desperate to go America and is a right hand of local gangster engaged in kidnapping. One more thing i liked about the movie was Neha Dhupia's act as Munni the Don ( used to call herself Lady Gabbarsingh in the movie). I never thought Neha Dhupia can act so well and give such a splendid performance and that came in the movie loaded with bunch of actors who have worked in theatres. You don't look at the starcast and just keep yourself engaged with the storyline screenplay and the performances which consistently give justice to the intersting plot and you will have a paisa wasul entertainment. The plot of the film is based on the global recession and its effects on everyone, even it affects underworld ( Gangsters in the movie don't have bullets in the gun, petrol in the jeep, even they cannot afford outgoing calls on their mobiles..!!!). Sanjay Mishra (as Bhai saab, remember jyotishi of Welcome?) was again excellent as usual playing the charecter of Bhai saab a local gangster who kidnaps an NRI (Rajat Kapoor) who doesn't have money and has come to India to sell his haveli so that he can save his recession affected lifestyl at America. And then starts the eyes warming and brain calming ride of comedy which makes u stick to the chair until u finish the movie.

Note : This movie has reminded me of my B.Pharm graduation days. Recession had just started at that time and as I was a fresh graduate, I was looking for a job. But I could not get the job of my choice due to recession.
